A little men’s fashion tip for today.
helmIf you haven’t already checked out 104th Street’s The Helm then you’re missing out. Part of my spring MANual here is a look at the Helm’s favourite Spring picks. Be sure to check out the store located on Edmonton’s 4th Street Promenade: 10125-104 Street.

Tip For The Day:
For those looking for something to do Friday night, make sure you hit up The Bower to hear this guy ~ Marlon English spin. He will be in Edmonton monthly for the Bower’s (Semi Monthly) Strictly Goods night. A little hip hop, a little funk and a lot of soul.

The Great Gatsby

gatsbyThe Bower here in Edmonton was host to a stylish event after the screening of Baz Luhrmanns’ Great Gatsby. Sponsored by the ever so elegant Moet & Chandon this party was a huge hit!

Despite the fact that I got the memo on how to dress in your 1920′s best, I came from a Junior Achievement Gala to which was business professional. That didn’t stop me from schmoozing with the other party-goers in true Fitzgerald style. Moet was inspired by the concept of The Great Gatsby movie coming out this weekend that they decided to throw Gatsby after parties from May 8-10 in cities across Canada.

Below you’ll see photos of Gatsby-Goers in Edmonton and various cities. Along with the Prada Gatsby exhibit + more!

MANual 0.1

To the men who follow my blog, I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce a new series called “MANual“. This will feature top fashion, trends, local restaurant gems, and perhaps I’ll throw in a few post script notes on “Did you know?…”, “Tips on Etiquette…” and “Keep Your Eye On…”. From the female perspective (or just mine).

Stay tuned for lunch segments and Edmonton trends for mens fashion, decor, the odd Scotch post and more!
